What this app is
Gratitude Partner is a journaling and reflection app. It may offer reminders, optional voice input, scheduled gratitude calls, and optional cloud backup when you create an account.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and data needed to run the app:
- Account information (if you sign up): such as email address, user ID, and sign-in method.
- Profile details you provide: such as your chosen name.
- Journal content: entries, notes, questions and answers, gratitude statements, mood tags, and similar content you create.
- Voice input: if you use voice features, audio may be processed to produce text and journal content. Audio is used to provide the feature, not for advertising.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active paid plan, managed through the app store and our subscription partners. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Schedule and device tokens: if you enable scheduled calls or notifications, we store your call times, timezone, and device tokens needed to deliver alerts.
- Usage and diagnostic data: such as app version, device type, operating system, and how you use the app, to keep the service reliable and improve it. Where enabled, we may use session replay tools that record in-app interactions; sensitive text fields are masked.
You do not need an account for every feature. In guest or local mode, some data stays on your device until you sign in and choose to sync.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide the app, your journal, and voice features
- Deliver reminders, notifications, and scheduled calls you enable
- Process and manage subscriptions
- Sync your data when you use an account
- Improve, maintain, and secure the service
- Send transactional messages you request or that relate to your account (such as trial reminders)
- Comply with law and protect users and the service
How we share information
We use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf—for example, cloud hosting, authentication, notifications, subscription management, analytics, email delivery, and speech or language processing for voice features. They may only use data to provide these services for us.
We may also share information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
- Permissions: you can turn off microphone or notifications in your device settings.
- Account and data: you can delete your account and cloud-stored data in the app (Settings) where available, or email us at mygratitudepartner@gmail.com.
- Access and correction: contact us to request access to or correction of your personal data, where applicable by law.
Deletion may take a short time to complete across our systems. We may retain certain information where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee complete security.
International users
Gratitude Partner is operated from Nigeria. Your information may be stored or processed in Nigeria and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the app, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations, subject to applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. For material changes, we will provide notice in the app where required.
