What this app is
Gratitude Partner is a journaling and reflection app that may use reminders, optional voice input, and optional cloud backup when you use an account.
Information we collect
We collect data you choose to provide and data needed to run the app:
- Account & identity (if you sign up): e.g. email and user ID.
- Content you create: journal entries, notes, voice input converted to text, tags, and similar content.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active “Pro” or similar purchase, managed through the app store (Apple or Google) and our service providers as needed to unlock features.
- Device & technical data: device type, OS, app version, and diagnostic info to keep the app reliable and secure.
- Notifications: if you allow them, a device token is used to deliver reminders and session alerts.
We do not require you to create an account for every feature, where the app is designed to work in local or guest mode; some data may stay on your device only in those cases.
How we use information
We use information to: provide the app and your content; process subscriptions; send reminders and alerts you enable; sync data when you use an account; improve and secure the service; and comply with law.
How we share information
We use service providers that process data on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting, authentication, notifications, and subscription/entitlement management). They may only use data to provide these services. We may also share information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
Payments for subscriptions are processed by Apple and/or Google; we do not receive your full payment card number.
Selling data
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices & rights
- Device permissions: you can disable microphone or notifications in your device settings.
- Access / correction / deletion: contact us at [email] for data requests, including account and cloud-stored data where applicable. In-app delete account / delete data may also be available. Deletion may be limited where we must retain certain data for legal or security reasons.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from such children. Contact us if you believe we have.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service is 100% secure.
International users
